10:16 < JR__> I have a quick question, I just installed the IPod Classic iLoader & the installation was succesfull but now when i plug the ipod back into my pc it showes up in device manager under freemyipod.org & emBIOS Monitor but wont show up into My Computer so that I can copy the rockbox files.  Any Suggestions?
10:18 < TheSeven> JR__: the installer should already have copied rockbox, if everything went right
10:19 < TheSeven> if it didn't, do the following:
10:19 < TheSeven> - pick the rockbox.ipod file from the rockbox-ipodclassic.zip archive
10:19 < TheSeven> - strip off the first 8 bytes, rename it to rockbox.ubi
10:19 < TheSeven> - choose "UMSboot" in the iLoader menu
10:20 < TheSeven> - copy the rockbox.ubi file to the volume that shows up, and eject that volume
10:20 < TheSeven> - rockbox should boot up, and you should be able to access the hard drive

Now when I plug in the ipod to the pc it freezes up My Computer & when I try to access the Ipod it tells me it must be formated.  Should I be formatting the unit? And if so to what partition style? It only shows me exFAT & NTFS

19:44 < JR> Yes sir, once I striped the .pod file & renamed it to .ubi it sucessfully installed & booted into rockbox,  I then plugged the usb cable into the comp & it hangs in "My Computer" .  If I reset the unit holding select+menu it boots back into iloader & tells me rockbox is not installed

20:59 < JR> I had run the diagnostic mode prior to installing & everything seemed fine.  I was stuck at the FW check but all memory tests had passed succesfully
