03:05 < daniel_1495> Does anyone have any tips for connecting rockbox to mac?  It goes into the same connected mode as in windows, and charges just fine, but it doesn't show up on the mac...  I googled it and got some posts about booting into disk mode, but will that work without Apple's firmware installed?
03:08 < daniel_1495> Mac has now given the standard error, "the disk is not readable..." and gives me the option to initialize, eject, ignore...  Do I need to chose between windows/linux and mac when I install Rockbox, or is there some kind of filesystem that will be supported by both of them?  Is this just something silly I've done?

17:46 < justanotherperso> Hey guys, just saw the Wiki and decided to give Rockbox a go. I have a 160 gig iPod Classic, I believe it's the fat one (could be slim, I don't know lol). Did the install and the menu was really messed up, couldn't read much and the rockbox.image failed to load. I saw that this was common, I'd really like to help and be a testee for this. How can I help? Any updates on this stuff?
