16:16 < TheSeven> that's really really funny as that part of the USB transition is solely controled by detecting power on the bus
16:16 < dk_> after that it still doesn't work with windows
16:17 < TheSeven> so it seems to detect *something* (because it locks up), but shouldn't yet know which OS it is talking with at that point
16:17 < TheSeven> you're the first one to report that kind of problem on windows
16:17 < TheSeven> so far all the people with USB storage problems were linux users, which were struggling with that nasty ehci_hcd bug
16:17 < dk_> guess so. that shouldn't be a problem you'd often have...
16:18 < dk_> interesting... it works fine with my ubuntu maverick

23:37 < santatution> Hi, I can't get my iPod classic to work with the program "bootstrap_ipodclassic_itunes". Before opening up the program I put my iPod in dfu mode by holding the menu and center buttons. When I get into the program it says "Could not open DFU device" Help?
