12:36 < A71> I followed the steps (impressive work!) and I got RockBox started, w/ the "no .rockbox directory" message, plugged it, but it won't get recognized on windows

12:50 < STeeF> A71, try the following: Reboot your ipod, select from the emCORE bootmenu the Tools option and than select the fallback rockbox version. Boot it and plug it in

12:51 < TheSeven> if windows complains about the drive not being formatted (it should have been formatted during installation), you can try re-formatting it through the tools menu
