22:08 < [7]> and the device wasn't even bricked by it, he just couldn't return to the apple firmware any more because he managed to overwrite some vital device-unique data of it

23:45 < thefreeman> hi guys, problem here, I'm trying to remove emcore from my ipod classic 3G (160gb), I can't seem to get into DFU mode, everytime I hold down menu + select the ipod restarts after 5-6 seconds but goes straight into the emcore boot menu
