19:59 < dsana123> Oh, and also, after safely ejecting the USB connection on Vista, the iPod still shows the "USB plug" image. Maybe related.

20:04 < [7]> it doesn't recognize that it's being ejected and will wait for power to disappear on the bus
20:32 < dsana123> After trying a f ew things (on the same computer), I am now currently transferring some files over to the iPod. When I first connected via USB, opening windows explorer would hang the PC. I then disconnected the USB (the PC became reponsive), and reconnected for the second time. This time I was able to access the drive.

20:37 < dsana123> It'll take a while to transfer my music (15GB), and maybe I'll try my audiobooks (45GB) as well at the same time in case getting access to the iPod drive proves problematic. I'll report back on whether the transfer was successful.
