01:50 < Epicide> I was wondering if anyone can help me with a bug I'm experiencing. It seems I have the "small number of iPod Classic devices where USB doesn't work unless the device was booted through DFU" bug. Is there any sort of workaround? Can someone at least help me confirm that I really am experiencing that bug? Also, I'm not entirely sure what the DFU is...

14:35 < subliminal_aura> hi guys. i wonder if you can help me im trying to uninstall  Emcore to original OS on my ipod classic 6g. when i installed it i made sure that itunesdevicehelper.exe was alive. im in DFU, But get unknown error 1601. please help cos it's totally dead (bricked) in DFU

14:37 < TheSeven> this sounds like either the DFU or WTF driver isn't working right, probably the latter one
14:37 < TheSeven> did you mess with the WTF driver during installation=?
14:38 < TheSeven> try removing all the freemyipod drivers, and the re-plugging the ipod
14:38 < TheSeven> if it still doesn't work, you might want to try restoring it on a different computer or reinstalling itunes

21:59 < subliminal> seven m8 are you there. my ipod is totally f**ked. windows cant see it at all. i't 100% dead. itunes corrupted the firmwire, driver & bios. so thiers no way of fixing it. dont think you can help but it will be very much gratified
