12:21 < LLswe> I'm currently running ipodclassic 6g with emCORE r708 build accompanied with Rockbox r29777 dated April 24th 2011.
12:21 < LLswe> the mentioned combination works pretty decent with occasional lockups (playback stuttering), nothing too serious
12:21 < LLswe> I try new emCORE builds from time to time, resulting with more or less the same behaviour
12:21 < LLswe> but with emCORE r758 (the latest available *.ubi file from freemyipod.org builds page) something different happened
12:22 < LLswe> after emCORE booting, Rockbox boot was unsuccessful
12:22 < LLswe> ipod's display showed rockbox logo at top, bacground was bluish one of the emcore menu, in the upper left corner of the display there was a little blinking patch,
12:22 < LLswe> let's say 2mm x 4 mm, like a cursor, blinking especially when touching scrollwheel
12:22 < LLswe> it stays like that until forced reboot or regular shutdown (allows shutdown by long holding of play/pause)
12:22 < LLswe> I just wanted to report this, do you have any advice, or I should just continue using the older, stable build

13:29 < TheSeven> what emcore is doing is correct - we just need to patch rockbox to not get confused by it

17:51 < user890104> so i think it would be a better idea not to publish any classic emcore builds even on the builds page, until the rockbox issue is resolved
