14:21 < Verfblikje> Dear freemyipod support. I am tryikng to install emcore+rockbox in my ipod classic (80GB '07) and I can't get it to work. I tried to install the DFU driver without iTunes first.

14:23 < Verfblikje> I also tried this with iTunes, but iTunes immediately wants to repair the iPod immediately. i.e. it opens as soon as I put the iPod in DFU mode.

14:41 < benedikt93> Verfblikje, when using iTunes (the simpler approach, esp. on Windows), you need to kill several apple processes. These should be iTunes.exe, and the ituneshelper and applemobile<something> ones.
