09:39 < Panoman> I'm a little confused at the moment. I want to install what freemyipod has been working on. I was going to install ipod linux until I found out that it no longer existed and had moved. I have had rockbox on my iPod in the past, but that was installed a few years ago and I don't remember what all I did. I'm not sure how to install or where to find the files for the freemyipod project. Can anyone help?

09:48 < Panoman> Oh. So, other than emcore, is there any other operating system then? I was content with Rockbox, I was just interested in trying something new.

09:49 < user890104> emcore basicly replaces rockbox's bootloader and you get a shiny menu with icons to select what to boot

09:51 < user890104> installing rockbox is just coopying a folder in your ipod's flash memory
09:51 < user890104> using the rockbox.org link i gave you above is the easiest way
09:52 < Panoman> Yeah. I remember that being fairly simple. I was trying to install emcore but I'm not too familiar with the command prompt and getting things to work that way. Not to say that I haven't used it successfully before.
09:52 < Panoman> I don't really need a different interface to select between the two firmwares, however. So I probably won't worry about it.
