I read that emcore is not currently supported, I can only run it from the ram. I have no experience with this stuff. what exactly is the difference between running a supported version of emcore and running it from the ram. 19:47 < TheSeven> "running from ram" in this context means not having access to any kind of persistent storage 19:47 < TheSeven> also there are no clickwheel drivers yet 19:47 < TheSeven> and only some of the different display models used in this generation work so far 19:47 < luxmea> ah ok, thank you 19:48 < TheSeven> i.e. there isn't really anything suitable for end-users yet 19:48 < luxmea> ok. yeah, looked that way from the explanation page 19:51 < luxmea> I guess freemyipod is the only alternative firmware project right now for the nano 4g 19:52 < TheSeven> as far as I know yes 19:52 < luxmea> ok, ty for the info. 19:53 < luxmea> will keep an eye on the updates. 19:54 -!- luxmea [c636cad6@gateway/web/freenode/ip.198.54.202.214] has quit [Quit: Page closed] 20:41 -!- benedikt93 [~benedikt9@unaffiliated/benedikt93] has quit [Quit: Bye ;)] 21:29 -!- cac2s [~cac2s@atoll-ama.com] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 23:35 -!- liar [~liar@clnet-p09-185.ikbnet.co.at] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] --- Log closed Mon Nov 21 00:00:42 2011
