I read in one forum post you can't access more than 128GB on the 120GB model, but I think this was with apple firmware, it should work with an emCore & Rockbox setup right? [12:04:02] bebna: it should work in theory, yes [12:04:21] but unless someone tests it, we can't tell for sure [12:04:51] there may be timing issues with other than stock hard drives, or incompatible drive firmware [12:05:40] I found many posts about the 240gb in a thick 160gb model working [12:06:01] are 120gb thin and 160gb thick different in the mainboard parts [12:06:03] ? [12:09:18] no [12:09:34] the firmware is also exact [12:09:41] (the custom one) [12:09:47] ok perferct [12:10:03] that sounds good for me [12:10:26] but first i wait until hddscan2 finishes [12:19:17] what is the progress so far? [12:19:45] hmm, don't know surly [12:20:09] i had to calc the count of sectors against the count of sectors checked [12:20:25] but I'm too lazy to that after work [12:20:39] so i only check if it runs or not [12:21:10] and wait for the "COMPLETE" until I make decision to get a new harddrive or not [12:22:52] I also have to check to sound of that version, so I can decide if it will be "good enough" for a roughly ~120€ repairment investment [13:11:23] *** Joins: cyb3rkn19ht (~cyb3rkn19@pool-72-66-124-83.washdc.fios.verizon.net) [14:31:36] *** Quits: cyb3rkn19ht (~cyb3rkn19@pool-72-66-124-83.washdc.fios.verizon.net) (Remote host closed the connection) [14:32:23] *** Quits: [7] (~quassel@rockbox/developer/TheSeven) (Disconnected by services) [14:32:30] *** Joins: TheSeven (~quassel@rockbox/developer/TheSeven) [17:51:25] *** Parts: bebna (~a.fasold@94.101.33.114) () [18:44:55] *** Quits: STeeF (~STeeF@office.hostnetbv.nl) (Remote host closed the connection) [20:06:22] *** Joins: liar (~liar@clnet-p09-185.ikbnet.co.at) [20:14:58] *** Quits: Elfish (amba@2001:1608:12:1:13:3:3:7) (Ping timeout: 252 seconds) [20:22:26] *** Joins: Elfish (amba@2001:1608:12:1:13:3:3:7)
