[20:44:18] <egrain> also it said that rockbox util wouldn't be able to read manually installed things, so updating would have required me doing it manually as well.

[20:47:01] <egrain> oh, and just in case you are more involved in the whole rockbox plugins thing. i found someone asking for spritz (the speed reading thing) for rockbox on reddit. i would use that, too.
