[01:26:26] shows up in device manager under disk drive, but never mounts. I'm using a 6th gen ipod classic [04:03:53] *** Quits: mcmb03 (4b56b88d@gateway/web/freenode/ip.75.86.184.141) (Quit: Page closed) [06:09:56] *** Joins: luyikei (~quassel@i255020.dynamic.ppp.asahi-net.or.jp) [06:14:23] *** Quits: luyikei (~quassel@i255020.dynamic.ppp.asahi-net.or.jp) (Ping timeout: 240 seconds) [06:16:11] *** Joins: luyikei_ (~quassel@i255020.dynamic.ppp.asahi-net.or.jp) [09:10:38] *** Quits: krnlyng (~liar@83.175.90.24) (Ping timeout: 272 seconds) [11:21:49] *** Joins: krnlyng (~liar@83.175.90.24) [19:27:13] *** Quits: luyikei_ (~quassel@i255020.dynamic.ppp.asahi-net.or.jp) (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [23:07:56] *** Joins: [Saint] (77e02730@rockbox/staff/saint) [23:16:24] *** Joins: frozencemetery (~frozencem@pool-108-49-152-214.bstnma.fios.verizon.net) [23:18:20] hey all, I'm following the instructions to put the .ubi file on the 64MB UMSBoot volume from linux. However, when I try to load the file there, it says "No space left on device". Is this a known problem? [23:26:48] <[Saint]> What is "it" in this context? emCORE itself provides no such string that I'm aware of. [23:27:08] right. I try to wget it there, or mv the file from somewhere else to there [23:28:09] <[Saint]> That doesn't really answer the question as to what is providing that error message. [23:28:33] mv. [23:29:20] <[Saint]> Basically, no, this is not a known problem. The installer .ubi file is many orders of magnitude smaller than the RAMdisk volume provided by UMSboot. [23:29:33] yeah, it's 950k compared to the 64M [23:30:35] <[Saint]> Could you pastebin the output of "df" for me please? [23:31:31] I'm trying it again in windows so it's going to be a few minutes, but it said 0% used, 64MB free [23:44:25] okay worked this time [23:44:26] weird [23:45:25] <[Saint]> I guess $whatever_distro_you_used was fucking it up. [23:45:38] <[Saint]> It works just fine for me on Arch/Debian [23:49:57] possible. I'm on debian too, so no idea [23:51:11] <[Saint]> Hmmmm. [23:51:15] <[Saint]> Anyhoo - welcome! [23:51:55] thanks!
