13:59 < soap> it is likely to be hardware improperly initialized or turned on needlessly rather than the software which has proven itself quite efficient.  Profiling is likely of only very marginal use at this point.
13:59 < soap> Look on Rockbox's tracker for the work done by Buschel on the 5g and Nano 1g for how the power consumption was cut by 40-60%
