15:17 < TheSeven> this should be reasonably accurate from like 20 to 70 percent, but everything outside of that is completely crap

15:18 < TheSeven> if your battery is still in good shape you should get like 8-12 hours depending on how you use it, which codecs, volume, ... when using rockbox
15:18 < TheSeven> apple will get a lot more, and we haven't figured out what they're doing differently yet

15:19 < TheSeven> same issue with the "scratch on vinyl" freezes, we just don't have a clue what's going on, and it seems to happen in a completely unpredictable fashion
15:20 < TheSeven> could be anything from hardware instability to some obscure software bug
15:20 < TheSeven> thanks to apple we can't just hook it up to a debugger and check what's going on
